DynuFile component has 25 methods.
- Open(filename - string, [openmode - string], [readwritemode - string], [sharemode - string]) Opens the file with given filename. openmode, readwritemode and sharemode are optional and can have the following values.
- openmode - "modecreate"(Will create a new file if file does not already exist else will open the file and truncate it to zero length) "modenotruncate"(Will open the file if exists else will return false. This is the default.) readwritemode - "read"(Will open the file in readonly mode.) "write"(Will open the file in writeonly mode.) "readwrite"(Will open the file in read and write mode. This is the default.) sharemode - "shareexclusive"(Will open the file with exclusive share mode and will deny access of this file to any other process. This mode will fail if the file is being used by another process.) "sharedenyread"(Will open the file and will deny read access to any other process.) "sharedenywrite"(Will open the file and will deny write access to any other process.) "sharedenynone"(Will open the file and will not deny access to any other process. This is default.)
- Close() Closes the file which was opened using the open method.
- Read(bytes - integer) Reads the given number of characters from the file which was opened using the open method and returns it as a string
- Write(string - string) Writes the given string to the file which was opened using the open method.
- GetLength() Returns the length of the file opened using the open method as an integer.
- SetLength(length - integer) Sets the length of the file opened using the open method.
- GetFileName() Returns the file name of the file opened using the open method as a string.
- GetFilePath() Returns the file path of the file opened using the open method as a string.
- GetFileTitle() Returns the file title of the file opened using the open method as a string.
- GetPosition() Returns the position of the current file pointer of the file opened using the open method as an integer.
- Seek(bytes - integer, [movementmode - string]) Sets the position of the current file pointer in the file opened using the open method. Movement mode is optional and can have the following values. movementmode - "begin"(Move the file pointer given number of bytes from beginning of the file.) "end"(Move the file pointer given number of bytes from the end of the file.) "current"(Move the file pointer given number of bytes from the current position of the file. This is default)
- SeekToBegin() Move the file pointer to the beginning of the file which was opened using the open method.
- SeekToEnd() Move the file pointer to the end of the file which was opened using the open method.
- GetAccessedTime(filename - string) Returns the last accessed time of the given file as a string.
- GetCreatedTime(filename - string) Returns the created time of the given file as a string.
- GetModifiedTime(filename - string) Returns the last modified time of the given file as a string.
- GetAttributes(filename - string) Returns the attributes of the given file as a string.
- GetSize(filename - string) Returns the size of the given file in bytes as an integer.
- Remove(filename - string) Deletes the given file.
- Rename(oldfilename - string, newfilename - string) Renames the file with oldfilename to newfilename.
- SetAccessedTime(filename - string, year - integer, month - integer, day - integer, hour - integer, min - integer, sec - integer, dst - integer) Sets the last accessed time of the given file based on the values received. dst is daylight savings time in effect and can have one of the three values, as follows: dst - 0 (Standard time is in effect) 1 (Daylight savings time is in effect) -1(Automatically computes whether standard time or daylight savings time is in effect.)
- SetCreatedTime(filename - string, year - integer, month - integer, day - integer, hour - integer, min - integer, sec - integer, dst - integer) Sets the created time of the given file based on the values received. dst is daylight savings time in effect and can have one of the three values: 0, 1, -1
- SetModifiedTime(filename - string, year - integer, month - integer, day - integer, hour - integer, min - integer, sec - integer, dst - integer) Sets the last modified time of the given file based on the values received. dst is daylight savings time in effect and can have one of the three values: 0, 1, -1
- SetSize(filename - string, size - integer) Sets the size of the given file to the given size.
- SetAttributes(filename - string, attributes - string) Sets the attributes of the given file to the given attributes. Attributes can be any combination of the following: "ASHRN". "A" - archive, "S" - system, "H" - hidden, "R" - readonly, "N" - none
